Nylon 6 yarn prices hold firm as cost pressure eases
Nylon 6 filament yarn prices stabilized this week after a two-month decline, with FDY, DTY and POY moving within a narrow 0.6 per cent range. Caprolactam costs have flattened, limiting further price cuts, while compressed producer margins and early downstream restocking suggest the market has entered a near-term equilibrium rather than another leg lower.
